Watermark Concert Series: Supermutt

By Cameryn Cimirro, English

On March 20th, 2021, Supermutt, hailing from Jersey City, was the latest band to hit the Watermark stage, this time to raise money for the JDJ Foundation’s Pediatric Wheelchair Program. So far, they have raised $7,300 towards the ultimate goal of $10,500.

During their performance, Supermutt rocked out some super high energy songs, including a brand-new single released just the day before, as well as a tune dedicated to one of their bandmates (who unfortunately could not join them on stage).

The band made their performance extra special by having their lead singer dance and crack jokes, which certainly made the viewers laugh in between songs. Towards the middle of the show, the band even pulled out a long multi-colored string of bandanas to mimic a circus act.

Be sure to check out Supermutt’s YouTube channel for the latest content, and if you can, please donate to JDJ Foundation’s Pediatric Wheelchair Program and help them meet (and hopefully exceed) their funding goal!
